How to read the table
Pad dock is an Omni station that washes the cloth between panes — worth it if you do a wall of glass, extra bulk if you have two bathroom windows. Mini / small panes is WINBOT Mini and Mini 2. Full-size bodies want a big sheet.
Tether and backup power are the safety columns. Use the tether outdoors. Spray soaks the pane; mist (Hobot, some Tosima) drips less on the sill. Suction is listed because every box shouts it — shop size and safety first.
Safety, then the glass you have
Every serious model should stay put, survive an outlet glitch, and clip to something solid. If you cannot clip the tether, do not send it outside.
Two bathroom windows: Mini 2 or a Tosima. Sliding doors you will do often: W2 PRO Omni or W3 Omni if you want the dock. Owner-loved value: HUTT S7 or S55 Pro. You will still wipe the gasket by hand.
How to read the ribbons
Window robots have fewer roundups than pool or lawn. WINBOT W2 PRO Omni is the overlap. W3 Omni, WINBOT Mini, and Mamibot W120 sit on two. Window Robot Lab wants the Omni dock. Wirecutter liked the Mini on high-rise interiors.
A straightforward pick
Divided apartment panes: WINBOT Mini 2, or Tosima W5 / X1 to spend less. Big sliding doors, often: W2 PRO Omni. Value: HUTT S7 or S55 Pro. Exterior: full-size, tether every time.
